Celebrating Our Remarkable Graduating Seniors!

As the school year comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of Greater Than’s graduating seniors from Reynold’s High School. These remarkable individuals have demonstrated unwavering determination and adaptability throughout their education journey. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments.

This class has unofficially become known as the “COVID Class,” a title that symbolizes the unprecedented challenges these students faced during their high school years. The pandemic interrupted their freshman year, abruptly transitioning them to remote learning and disrupting their education for a significant portion of the academic year. From there, they navigated a hybrid learning environment during their sophomore and junior years. Finally, in their senior year, they were able to experience the return to fully in-person classes, a testament to their unwavering commitment to their education.

At Greater Than, we are fully dedicated to cultivating a post-secondary mindset that paves the way for sustainable, fulfilling careers. We are delighted to share that all Greater Than graduating seniors have made plans for their future after graduation. These graduates have made plans to attend institutions such as the University of Oregon, Portland State University, Portland Community College, Oregon State University, and the United State Marine Corps. All GT graduates will continue to receive postsecondary support, including scholarship assistance, guidance with the FAFSA/ORSAA application process, class selections, and personalized check-ins.

Recently, our graduating seniors revisited their alma maters—Alder Elementary School, H.B. Lee Middle School, and Reynolds Middle School. They walked the halls, visited classrooms, and shared their experiences, igniting inspiration among younger students and leaving a lasting impact on the places where their educational journey began.

Then, preceding graduation, our seniors embarked on an unforgettable senior trip to Camp Namanu. They participated in team-building exercises, conquered thrilling challenges on the ropes course, participated in creative tie-dye sessions, and enjoyed a memorable movie night under the stars.
